He brings deep experience in virtual care solutions, perioperative services growth, IP/ED patient throughput, system capacity management and population health innovations. Some of Winegar’s key accomplishments include launching more than 25 hospital-at-home programs across the U.S. and coordinating clinical interventions to drive shared savings across more than 250,000 patient lives at risk and $1 billion in medical spend. Winegar has also achieved hospital length of stay reductions to create more than 2,000 additional patient bed days across a prominent academic health system.
