Joshua Snyder leads the financial strategy, operations and performance for Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital. With over two decades of experience in healthcare finance, Snyder brings a deep understanding of financial management, operational efficiency and strategic planning to his role.

Since joining Chester County Hospital in 2018, Snyder has held several key leadership positions, including controller and associate CFO, before being appointed CFO in 2022. His leadership has been instrumental in driving financial sustainability and supporting the hospital’s mission of delivering high-quality care to the community.

Prior to his time at Penn Medicine, Snyder held finance leadership roles at Bon Secours Health System and Sentara Healthcare, where he developed expertise in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis across complex healthcare environments.

Snyder holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from Old Dominion University, a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Accounting and Financial Management. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE®) and a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) through the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
