Leading Through the Noise: Froedtert ThedaCare's Journey Through Integration and Cultural Transformation
March 24, 2025 RecordingConsolidation in the healthcare industry continues to be a dominant trend, with organizations seeking to combine forces for greater impact. Successfully merging two healthcare entities involves meticulous planning, thorough due diligence and regulatory approvals leading up to a definitive agreement. However, the real work and the key to long-term success begin on the first day after the merger. This critical phase involves launching a multitude of workstreams and initiatives to maintain day-to-day operations, ensure excellent patient care and create a cohesive new entity. Froedtert ThedaCare, a combined organization resulting from the merger of Froedtert Health and ThedaCare, has prioritized integration and cultural transformation during its inaugural year.
Presenters will share insights into the processes, success metrics and tactics that have facilitated their successful integration and cultural transformation. They will also highlight early learnings and tangible examples of how these strategies were applied within their organization. Audience participation will be encouraged during a panel discussion moderated by Chris Masone, Principal at FORVIS, who has been closely involved with Froedtert ThedaCare throughout its transformative journey.
